Desktop/laptop access

You may access Epicardio Simulation™ on Apple macOS or MS Windows systems on desktop and laptop computers.

• For better performance and full product features, we recommend to download the app for macOS or MS Windows. Once you subscribe on the Epicardio eShop you will receive an email with the download and installation instructions.
• Alternatively you can run the app directly on any WebGL enabled web-browser: Safari, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc. No plug-in installation is required. Once you subscribe on the Epicardio eShop you will receive an email with the access URL.
• Functioning broadband internet connection is required at all times.
• We recommend you close all other unnecessary windows and applications on your computer, and keep it plugged in  to main power while running Epicardio.

Recommended computer specification:

• Apple Silicon: macOS Tahoe, Apple Silicon M1+, Memory: 8GB+
• Apple Intel: macOS v20+, CPU: Intel i7 2.6GHz, Memory: 8GB+, Graphics card: AMD Radeon or NVIDIA
• MS Windows: v11+, CPU: 64bit Intel i7 / AMD 3GHz, Memory: 8GB+, DirectX12+ graphics card or equivalent.

Minimum recommended computer specification:

• Apple Intel: macOS Sonoma, CPU: Intel i5 2.6GHz, Memory: 4GB+, Graphics card: Intel UHD, AMD Radeon or NVIDIA
• MS Windows: v10+, CPU: 64bit Intel i5 / AMD / Qualcomm 2.6GHz, Memory: 4GB+, DirectX12+ graphics card or equivalent.
• Epicardio can run on lower specification, but with slower simulation speeds.

Tablet/smartphone access

You may also access the Epicardio apps: “Temporary Cardiac Pacing”, “Atrial Fibrillation” and “Epicardio Heart Simulator” on App Store for iPad and iPhone, and on Google Play for Android tablets and smartphones.

Recommended tablet specification:

• Apple iOS/iPadOS: v26+, 5th generation iPad Pro
• Android: API level 36+, e.g. Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Plus or equivalent

Minimum tablet specification:

• Apple iOS/iPadOS: v18+, 4th generation iPad Air
• Android: API level 34+, e.g. Samsung Galaxy Tap S9 FE or equivalent
